Amplify You - Part 2 of 3

Your bi-weekly dose of learning AI, without the hype.

Hello peeps,

2026 is scarcely four weeks old, yet for some among us, it has already unfurled it's theatrical wings.

Last week, I covered how AI can Amplify you for your Health

This week, it's about Wealth and I am keeping it short.

Before we dive into it, make sure you have made project in your ChatGPT

Wealth

How I am doing it

  • I am sure, we all can't hire a personal Portfolio Manager/Consultant (just for knowledge; they only talk to you, if you have more than 50 lacs to invest in liquid money/investable capital).

  • Now, we don't need them till some point of time. You can use ChatGPT as different advisors like MF advisors, retirement planning or child education etc. I am using it as personal advisor for planning my Goals; which does all the calculation and generate excel with details (often there are some minor mistakes as well).

  • I have also created a phyton file by ChatGPT; which classifies my personal bank statement based on old data. (I haven’t coded a thing, but involves lot of chat with GPT and basics of phyton; just to understand what it is doing)

What I Pan to do: Completely automate my personal finance using AI.

  • Now, I am working to solve biggest leakage of our money, quick commerce; where Agent can send me Daily/Weekly summary on money spend in major quick commerce. I tried with Zapier but process is too complex. Since, Gemini already has access of all our data/email, I tried using it make a a summary of last 6 month and also find my dark pattern on such expenses.

Prompt - Search my Gmail - Having word "Zomato" or ”BlinkIt”- create a excel file with date and amount spent on Zomato in last 6 months

Gemini BlinkIT

Tip - Use Pro Gemini 3 (it's free) while using otherwise it only gives first few transaction.

Next Prompt -

Find out my dark patterns which are going against good saving rate and creating bad habits, over-spending etc. from last 6 month day-day expenses, like Zomato, blinkIt, Swiggy, Instamart, Tata1mg etc.

Here's my dark pattern found by Gemini (I am sure many of you can relate to this):

1. The "Micro-Cart" Trap (Inefficiency)

2. The "Outsourced Morning" (Laziness Premium)

3. The "Platform Fee" Leak (Frequency vs. Volume)

4. The "Just-in-Time" Grocery Cycle

Prompts you can start with

If you are early in career

Create a 5-year plan to save $20,000 based on my monthly income INR 1,20,000, current savings 30%, and risk level- high. Ensure diversification and personal finance basics before investing.

If you are in mid-career

Act as a financial planner and design a goal-based financial roadmap for a mid-career professional earning ₹35 Lacs annually, saving 15%, with current investments, 40% on EMIs, and risk profile-high, focusing on child planning, retirement corpus building, and domestic/international travel aspirations.

Cautions while using any AI

  • Please note that the financial advisory from ChatGPT is only probability based and cannot be completely relied upon.

  • Long Excel calculation often have some mistakes in calculation or Logic; which can change the whole plannning (always double-check)

  • Don't keep reading schemes of making easy money. Nothing good comes easily.

  • Personal finance is very individualistic and varies based on personal preference and situation; there ChatGPT initial response will be generally standard and you have to tailor it by giving it more context and follow-on prompts.
