Learning Loop ♾️ 02-2025
Your bi-weekly dose of learning AI, without the hype.

Hello peeps,
Hello everyone, and a very warm welcome to the second edition of AIpeeps!
I am really thankful that you guys have subscribed and for being my initial supporters.
I'm sure many of you are having trouble locating my email — please star ⭐it for easy access during weekend, when you are working on your curiosity for AI
💡3 Curious things I learnt
1️⃣ Customize ChatGPT - Yes, I tried this for fun
(Learning Gen Z language, but failed )
I tried to customize ChatGPT to talk to me as if it’s a member of Gen Z for all my task requested, but what I found was more surprising;

Customizing ChatGPT
ChatGPT (LLM model) actually doesn’t care about these customization features offered by Openai.com to make their UI/UX look better;
Look in the response from model-

Response from ChatGPT on Overstepping Instruction
Few things; I have learnt from this experiment🥼:
Never rely on Customization features completely
LLMs lean towards neutral tone for every task; so you need to ask specifically in your prompt always on how you want it to respond
2️⃣ Perplexity.AI is a multi-model interface App
(only issue is that functionality is chargeable )
So let’s first understand; what’s multi-model interface App; an app that provides an interface for interacting with or choosing between different models.
What does it solve❓
Then, you don’t need to login to different LLM models every time for your task to see the output difference and you don’t need so many account.
Obviously, you will need to pay for it!💰

3️⃣ Gemini + Google Drive
(This is secret battleground, which provides lots of functionality for which we would to pay for Microsoft license)
Did you know your personal Google account is a powerful hub for AI-driven productivity and automation? Many of Google's widely used products offer incredible AI capabilities that can streamline your work and boost efficiency.
Take a look at the image below for a glimpse into the Google products I'm exploring for AI productivity (I will do the experiment with all of these product):

Google Gemini +Google Products
What I tried as first experiment🤨- Asking Gemini to connect with my drive and search for particular doc from my data (like RAG) and create a similar kind of document; here’s the result:

Gemini Result
Few things; I have learnt from this experiment🥼:
Gemini can only retrieve information from doc and doesn’t have ability to create things in google doc.
When I asked Gemini to create similar format doc; the response was 20% correct and not satisfactory; I am still working around this, will cover exact prompt in coming newsletter
🕵🏻Decoding the Jargon
Hallucination!! (Not the Trippy Kind)

Just Like Human baby
Alright, fam. Let’s talk AI hallucinations—and no, not the psychedelic stuff. 👀
In simple words, this is what happens when AI, like ChatGPT or any large language model (LLM), confidently spits out something that’s totally wrong, kinda wild, or just doesn’t make sense at all. Like when your friend gives directions with full confidence… and you end up on the wrong side of town.
There are two kinds of these hallucinations.
Intentional ones – These are shady. Someone feeds the AI fake info on purpose (aka malicious data injection), and boom—the AI starts saying wild stuff based on those lies. Think of it like a kid being taught something wrong on purpose. Messed up, right?
Unintentional ones – This one’s more like a kid learning from everything around them: books, convos, TikToks... and sometimes they pick up weird or wrong stuff just 'cause their sources were kinda sus. Same with AI—it learns from a massive pile of data that isn’t always 100% clean or accurate. So yeah, sometimes it gets confused and makes stuff up.
Bottom line? AI’s smart, but it’s still figuring stuff out—just like us. Sometimes it nails it, and other times... it totally flops. 😅
Stay curious (and fact-check your AI, lol).
Try it Out this week:
(I will cover more on these topics in my next loop)
✔️ Try Using other google products with Gemini- Calendar, Tasks etc.
✔️ Check-out “Space” in Perplexity.ai- Explore different small AI agents
I'm truly excited to learn alongside you all. Please feel free to share any questions or topics you're particularly curious about. See you tomorrow on Community Meet.
Hope you learned something new today!
Till next time,
Curiously yours,
